Calculus Vocabulary Videos

Below is list of vocabulary words we have taken from AP Calculus and we have created these videos to help explain each of the words in easy to understand terms. If you find a term that is found in AP Calculus but do not see it below, please use my contact us link above and ask me to include it.

Note: These videos were specially made for students who are not native English speakers. However, they can be used by native speakers as well.

The best way to use these videos is to read ahead before your teacher covers the material and find any technical words you don't know then watch my video. You will then understand the concept of the word while you try to understand the technical definition. You will be a leg ahead of everyone else!

  • concave – concave (this includes concave up, concave down and concavity

  • converges – converges (This includes converges, converges to f, convergest to L, converges absolutely and diverge )

  • diverge – diverge (This includes converges, converges to f, convergest to L, converges absolutely and diverge )

  • speed – speed (This includes speed, average speed and instantaneous speed)

  • value – value (this includes absolute maximum value, absolute minimum value, global maximum value, global minimum value, local maximum value and local minimum value)
